Cream butter and sugar together.
Add egg, milk, vanilla, orange juice, and orange zest. Beat well.
Gradually add all dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cranberries).
Mix until the mixture forms a soft dough. Add more flour if the mixture sticks to the bowl. Add milk if the mixture seems crumbly or dry.
Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll onto floured surface to ⅙ inch thickness.
Cut into desired shapes.
Preheat oven to 400°F
Place onto cookie sheets lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 400°F for 5-8 minutes.
